I think the answer is that people just don't have the patience to actually listen to him they are always in a hurry to get accross what they want to say.

People in general just don't have patience anymore for anything. As the world has progressed at such a speed so have we. Before the days of tvs, ipods, pcs, game consoles, mobiles etc we had more time and patience. Freddie should have been born in a different era.
