Why do the HMs dislike Freddie so much?

I don't think he's that bad. If the housemates were smart, they'd be thinking now 'Oh...we keeping putting this bloke up, but he keeps surviving, surely that means he popular on the outside, let's like him'. He's not THAT bad.
