Default Derek...

Whats everyones overall opinion on Derek?

Personally i think hes boring, literally everything he talks about is to do with politics and i mean fair enough if thats what hes into but whats the point coming on the show to talk politics, thats just my opinion.

Aye true, but when hes in the diary room i think hes very funny. It's a pity hes not like that when hes comes out. He must fancy BB!

I think hes a fox-hunting, selfish bore who thinks he's better than everyone else in there [and probably out here too].

Well Derek has written dribble for Margaret Thatcher so I suppose the toff Tories should select him as their next leader. They could do worse and probably will...

hey i like vanessa, anyway derek is the most neutral in the way that im not sure about. hes not a hateable or loveable person. although not in a gay way, the thing that surprises me most about him is he has a six pack!

I don't know if he's trying to be, but some of the stuff he comes out with is quite funny. Don't think i'd miss him too much if he wasn't there tho...

Derek's great, and is probably one of my favs now. After Mad Mary's departure, he's now the maddest one in there.

Flies off the handle and strops at the slightest thing, at times he seems a true drama queen (unlike the fake, attention seeking Kemal's melodramatics). The stuff in the diary room is hilarious. He's climbed a little too far up Makosi's a**e, but he'll sort it out soon.

He's a real character and seems to be getting better and better, so I'm pretty sure the viewing public will have him out soon.

.... and then he has the cheek to talk to Science about all the people on Makosi's bed, sucking up to her. He's JUST as bad but does it on a one to one.

Which is a much more clever way to play the game, than having a massive barney in front of everyone. As I said, he'll sort himself out with Makosi. He's keeping her close until the right time comes, keep your enemies close and your friends even closer.

Yes it is, I was making a point by reversing it. If you're not sure what point i was making, don't expect me to tell you.

I'm not really sure what it was

Yes a good guy..probably in my top 3 favourites.Being a fellow connoseur i can relate to him.He may come across as a bit grumpy, but for a 40 year old he's got twice the get up and go Science got.

Derek is one of the few housemates who has made me genuinely laugh! How can you say he's not funny? Miming over enthusiastically to Lesley's singing, the celebration in the diary room, him and Kemal asking to see the prime minister. Funny stuff, more entertaining than anything else so far. (although Science telling Kemal he was a just a fool in a bin was a great one liner)

My opinions on Derek are constantly waving, his moment of excitement in the Diary room is a classic and will be on next years Big Brother Funniest Moments.
