Neanderthals(Homo Neanderthalensis) lived in Europe for about 400,000 years. We Humans(Homo sapiens) left Africa and finally came to Europe only about 40,000 years ago.The interaction with humans was devastating for Neanderthals. Some scientists beleive that we even ate them. Some beleive they could not withstand climate change.Their life and extinsion has always fascinated me.How did the last few feel? Did they know that it is the end of their species. Were they angry with humans?
Now scientist have reconstructed the Neanderthal genome and it is possible to bring them back to life in the near future.Should we do it?We played a part in their extinsion so ethically it is our duty to bring them back.Or is it too dangerous for us.Finally how will it be to have a few Neanderthals in BB houe. Will be see them being bullied and hated or will we love them? |
