Default Inside info on the eviction experience,a big question answered + BB9 mystery.

Well as most of you know; i was part of the eviction crowd last night. It was requested in the other thread that I shed a bit of light on the whole live eviction experience. I know other members on here have been to a live show and made threads about it so I will try not to repeat too much and hopefully give you some new information.

General Info:

The gates open at 7 to start letting people in. I arrived an hour early but because of the large amount of people there didn't actually find my place by the stage until around 8.30. Queing isn't too bad because people in the que are generally quite chatty and there was alot of banter amongst strangers.

They do not allow food or drink in but security are quite laid back with the searches so it's not impossible to get drink inside if you so wish.

Once inside they breif the audience on camera etiquette; asking them not to do silly waves or appear to be shocked to be on camera.

Any member of staff that walks across the stage or up the stairs before the show is booed for comedic affect.

The set is tiny in real life and the screen that we all watch the HL show on is no bigger than an advertising billboard. Perhaps even smaller. The picture quality is also damn near unwatchable, particularly from close range. I have to watch it again tonight.

In between the live bits Davina and a co presenter chat with the audience and reveal random facts about the show.

It really is panto, Alot of people were booing but most of them had smiles on their faces. Nobody was really angry at anyone from what i saw. Marcus recieved alot of boos though. At some points more than kris.

A big question answered:

A couple of weeks ago there was alot of controversy about a comment davina made after the first Freddie chat about wolves and sheep. Alot of people were annoyed at her for saying it and alot of people were defending her and blaming the producers for telling her to say it. Last night after the second chunck of highlights davina made her comments and as usual cut to an ad break. After the cut davina appeared somewhat disgruntled, she turned to the audience and exclaimed (in the nicest possible way) that she loves talking to them and taking pictures, signing things etc but she needs to pay attention to the HL show because she needs to think of something to say about it every time she goes live. From what I saw she watches very little of the Friday show as a whole because she is having make-up done and chatting to fans etc.

I don't think she meant to belittle freddie that week I think thats probably all she could think of to say or it's likely that she missed part of the convo.

BB9 Mystery:

Davina and her Co-presenter revealed during one of their chats with the audience that apparently during the second week of BB9 someone took a dump in one of the toilets but missed the bowl. It had to be cleared up but to this day they don't know who it was (which i find hard to believe).

Attendance: 1000

Well thats the thing, i was kind of moving around alot to get in shot as there was alot of space at the back. The main area that i was based only had a row of about 4 people in front of me but the banners just take up so much space! No regrets though.

that was an interesting read, apreciate you posting this although im wondering what was so controversial about what davina said in regards to fredstar?i dont see why that would offend anyone just one flippant comment on something fredstar had said himself?im sure im missing something but im lost right now

Thanks MargeryFan for that. I enjoyed reading your post and feel much more informed about how the eviction night pans out. Will you be going to another one?

It appeared as though she was pretending to not understand what he was talking about. Which made him look a little bit silly but im sure she didn't mean it that way.

no probs.

I would like to go again but I wouldn't like to make a habit of it. I think the queing would get to me. The best thing to do is go to 1 or 2 evictions that mean something to you. Half the magic was seeing first hand how they put it all together. The other half was the buzz of being live. You would have thought england had won the world cup if you heard the raw of emotion when Kris' name was called.

ahh wicked. what one did you go to last year?

Yeah i had a feeling when he said "how weird is it that the housemates are just in there" that he must be having a laugh because he is obviously there every week so it can't be that weird for him.
