Default E4 - How Far behind?

I always thought that the coverage on E4 was 10 or so minutes behind to cut out any swearing but when Derek just said the time it was the same as my clock, do they only have a gap during the day?

As far as I'm aware, the E4 coverage is still shown around 10 minutes behind the 'live' action, Mike.

Only possible solution we can come up with is that perhaps Derek has adjusted his watch to take account of this?

Don't really know!

i think your wrong, its 15-20 minutes behind at all times.

even in the night, if the housemates break confidential information on anybody outside the house they have to mute it out.

They have to keep the delay on at all times. Just as well really, else you'd lose 40 mins a day while they adjusted it

But they usually filter out 'product names' and talking about peoples lives outside the house which isn't allowed to be shown.

When i watched one of the first live streams of this BB Derek said the time but also said that he put his watch forward by ten minutes so he was never late for work, a meeting etc. So that maybe why the time was almost exact to ours
