because know of the boys have fancied her at all or shown her any attention in that direction.

I admit I'm confused as to why people find her attractive. I mean she does look nice, but in a "Oh, that's a nice looking lamp, I'd like to have that in my home" nice. Once she opens her mouth and the blond ball of hate emerges, she's far from attractive.
