I was talking to someone from a childrens' charity on the way home today and she mentioned how animal charities are the most donated-to in the country (I believe the RSPCA gets more than the NSPCC, for example).

And I just thought that was wrong - I mean sure, sick and mistreated animals is a terrible thing, but surely less important than the welfare of human beings, let alone children?

So yeah, it got me thinking about other charities that aren't really as important as the others - and thought I'd ask if any of you have any that you would see as 'less important'.
