Default 6 weeks in - what do you now think.

So, from the start when Lisa took control of her little group and their early dominance and anti-freddie mentality with attacks on Freddie for being Freddie, and the forums go crazy with bullying and that BB didn't step in (probably because Freddie never said he was being bullied). To Freddies plan to expose their nastiness to the other housemates so that they all started to notice the clique (ok, obviously theres more to it). For weeks the forums were saying that BB should do something, then with Kris putting himself up and being evicted, the unification of the 'freaks' and fighting back, now with the demise of Karly (as its looking that way) and we are now left with two clear groups in the house. It does seem like a perfect time for the new housemates, any sooner and we may not of had the demise of the group in such an explosive manner.

Does anyone now think, that even though they should have stepped in sooner with things at times, that in general the producers have done a reasonable good job with their timings or do you think its just been luck.

I'm enjoying this big brother, it was looking bad for a while with Lisa's dominance but now it has all imploded and this now makes for great viewing (loved the conversation yesterday about how groups have happened and Lisa and co's dissaprovement of this).

What does everyone else think of this years BB 6 weeks in?

Discuss (worth 10 points) - just like school exams.

Ok I missed two weeks of it, but I think I have caught up now. Am loving the fact that Lisa's crowd are getting their come upance! She is beginning to panic now I think, but she knows she will be booed even more if she tries to get in with freddie's group!

Charlie will try to get in there! I am enjoying this years BB alot!

I think the show started off really well, I liked all the tasks and mini tasks. Have always kept the housemates active and not boring! However the last few days have been boring to watch. Something needs to happen! Good thing that the new housemates are coming in on friday

I only started watching it when I was flicking through the channels and saw Marcus RANTING about how he wasn't racist and how Sree was a little ''piss-ant''. I was in love from that moment on...then I realized that Marcus was just a loser.

I'd boycotted BB8 and BB9 because BB7 was so **** and I was fed up of social - leppers always getting the public vote, but I'm enjoying this one quite a lot and think it will be a Charlie, Rodrigo, Halfwit final, with Halfwit winning it (unfortunately).

Thats what I mean, now the groups are formed it will be slow viewing this week, apart from arguments etc. The level of getting along and having fun will be less this week, hopefully I will be proved wrong.

And now BB sends in the new HM's, its bloody good timing really.

People on the forum wanted new HMs around two weeks ago, but I think they did a good job holding out until now. We might not have had the Freddie fight back if the new group went in earlier.

They may have been lucky, but I think it panned out well.

The bigger they are (and Lisa got big) the harder they fall. I'm sure, like a few on here, that Lisa will know its all over if Karly goes this week, as she knows that Karly is a supporter of hers.

Its going to be a loud bang when she hits the deck.

Hey Junky. Long time no talk, it seems!

Since Kris' eviction, the dynamics of the house have changed dramatically. Sophie is now merging with the rest of the house since she has been hanging with Rod much more. And Noirin, it seems, has joined forces with Freddie and Co. Lisa's gang have also taken a liking to Freddie, but whether this is genuine or not, I can't say. Probably not, but at least they have been treating him better. This is much more enjoyable to watch now since the two groups are more or less equal. Looking forward to the new HMs as well.

Marcus may well be a loser, but I still find him good to watch, at least he's vocal (well when he's not chasing Noirin) some of his observations are good, even if he doesn't always articulate himself in the best fashion.

I don't have a problem with Freddie winning, and it's not because he was picked on, but rather his whole way of dealing with it, he never cried to BB for the way it was dealing with it, he came through 4 weeks that was a trial we can only imagine. So not because he was picked on, but the way he handled it, there is still a long way to go though.

You know, I totally agree with you so much so that I just used the word totally, which is a word I hate.

There is just no real need for it anywhere in a sentance, but I still used it because I agree.

Perhaps its because I am skinny and don't have a manly chest, but really its just because I don't want to see armpit hair whilst watching TV (sometimes whilst eating).

I know its really changed. Lisa was still boyant before Kris's eviction, she will be destroyed when Karly (as predicted) goes. From house dominant to nothing in just 8 days.

As much as some of the things that happened in the first few weeks angered/annoyed me with the way Freddie was treated (the Freddie washing up argument with Kris was a huge lowpoint for me) I am now kinda glad that it happened. Freddie knows he has some support, so he feels good about it all now. But it just adds more reasons to why their demise is so great. It they werent so nasty we wouldnt be enjoying it so much now.

I have been reading the threads but there have been a few people on here that have just been posting drivel and argumentative (without ever justifying their viewpoints - always stating, never discussing) so I haven't been ars*d to post for a few days, don't see the point in it all, getting dragged into arguments with idiots is not a way I want to spend my time. I also got a load of coke recently so my interests have been elsewhere.

But I am good, and you? (like the sig)

Or just some nipple tassles and hair remover for his armpits.

Oh and some anti-persperant.

I've been good, bit stressed with the whole moving out business, but I've been having fun releasing my stress by shooting some Raiders and Super Mutants in the face.

I've been wondering where you've been as I always enjoy your company on here. Glad you are well.

Yeah sure, I agree, I can see why lots of people like Halfwit, he's probably a very nice guy...I just find him SO ****ing irritating. It's just his voice, I think.

I think the only genuine people are Charlie, Rodrigo and Noirin (although Charlie's popularity has been crushed due to his association with Lisa and Noirin's has due to the whole everyone-falling-in-love -with-her thing).

MMmmm, wheres my Fallout disc.......gotta love that game, gotta love picking up all the tin cans.

I always wonder what Moira does with the 812 bent tin cans I sell her for ammunition. Who goes into the shop and goes

Moira - Hello there, how goes the hunt?
Moriarty - Moira do you have any bent tin cans for sale
Moira - Why yes, I have loads just come in the from the Wasteland Wanderer
Moriarty - By jove, thats wonderful news now I won't have to go back to the bar and molest Gob.
Moira - Come again (gets back to sweeping)

When is it that you are moving, I hated moving, and am moving myself in a few months, I have just learnt not to buy anything that needs to be carried. I throw out most of my DVD boxes and keep the DVD's on spindles.

Awww, its nice to know I was missed, but I do suffer from depression and often go into hiding (that and Im anti-social) not that people at work think that because I'm the loudest motha****a there.

Just realised, you might not know about Moira if you blew Megaton up.

PS that also explains my quote of 'Im not dead yet' (as on xbox as well) I just vanish for a while, and most people seem to think I OD'd and will be found dead in a gutter (which is unlikely as I don't go out much).

I was off my xbox for just over two months once, and all my friends on their thought I might have died. It was funny.

From the dozen of BB series I watched around the world, I thought it had the potential to become one of the most amazing and unpredictable series yet thanks to a very special and diverse group. I LOVED the 'Earn your housemate status' but it was rushed and badly executed towards the end: they should have never put the 6 last against the public vote.

Then I realized BB will never change: the public got rid of the most entertaining ones first (Sophia, Cairon and Angel) and the tasks weren't so good and not very original like the same dancing routines and all of that stuff.

Then it became the Sree show who became very uncomfortable to watch for about 2 weeks. We could have also noticed the groups dynamics aka Team Clever and Team Bully.

So the whole 'It's not what you expect it to be' is crap so far, we've seen all of this before. I'm actually more excited about BB USA and BB France than what could happen in a rushed and unfinished series.

I was always saying to people 'The show isn't dead, it will get better' but now it's Week 6 and nothing big happened. Something is missing in this series, I have a cheap and tacky feeling from it. To me, it's not BB UK.

HOWEVER, I like the drama and how it got better a few days ago now Kris is gone. And then the BB Birthday is in so I hope they do something nice with it...and put some big twists !

God I hate Moira with a passion. Possibly the most annoying voice EVER. I'm still trying to help her complete her book. Lazy bitch. I saved Megaton but now regretting it, lol.

I'm moving at the end of September. So nervous about it because I've only ever lived in my home town and I have no idea what Sheffield is like. We're going up there by train and I have a huge monitor and 360 I have to take with me. Going to be a pain in the ass!

Then it became the Sree show who became very uncomfortable to watch for about 2 weeks. We could have also noticed the groups dynamics aka Team Clever and Team Bully.

So the whole 'It's not what you expect it to be' is cr*p so far, we've seen all of this before.

I can definately see where you're coming from with the whole Sree thing, and the eviction of good characters (thats why I wouldn't mind seeing everyone up for eviction each week).

What is your main reason for watching the show, is it entertainment? As I watch more for the social dynamics (I like to watch people) so for me it has been a really interesting year, which is why I am enjoying the power struggles etc. The tasks to me are just the sidenotes that help cause some tensions etc to help change whatever dynamics etc that form because of it.

I haven't watched a foriegn BB, I think its because of the issue of watching via my laptop that doesn't appeal. I would also have no chance of watching the French BB as my foriegn language skills are pathetic to the point of laughable. My sister on the other hand speaks French and German fluentenly ands bits of several others. So thats my excuse - she got the skill for that, and I can paint (abstract really, Im not that good). Poor excuse.

I tried to learn dutch for a while (any guesses why? lol). but to no avail.

[/quote]

She does have an annoying voice, I have shot her a few times and then reloaded just to release my anger. When I normally stop playing I save then go to Megaton and go on a shooting rampage, then go to sleep happy and content.

I've been to Sheffield once, it was in February so a bit cold, windy and rainy. I liken it to Plymouth and I swear they have identical weather (strangely I have mentioned this to other people and they have agreed with me, obviously Sheffield and Plymouth are places people must just go to and observe the weather). It also (well used to, so hopefully it still does) have a good little punk scene going on.

Man, by train, I did that once, (well underground then train) took a few trips and all, but a lot of that was books. Do you still have the box for the monitor? could you send it up to yourself via a delivery company.
