In the mornings the highlights show is shown sans swearing and it is much better imho.

99% of the swearing is gratuitous, mainly done to try and show that the hm is

cool
does not care
is hard
etc

and a lot of it is because the hm are young.

still it is horrible to hear them - does anyone else prefer the no swearing version?

I remember when the pm show i heard Marcus refer indirectly to Noirin as a slag, during a word association game in the garden. I got a bad feeling about Marcus after that.

When i watched the am show, it cut the word out, and i couldn,t understand straight away why i had took a bad slight on Marcus from that game.

It shows you the power to make or brake a Hm BB have in the Editing room. Wheather they choose to use that power for that reason is a different question though, i hope not.

To cut swearing is acceptable though, but it may well be a different show.

decent point, it is all in the editing i guess. this year the swearing has been bad and it is rubbish swearing too

I hate the morning coverage, it cuts most of the good and entertaining bits out, and we're not seeing the true story (not that we are anyway with all the editing). It's made for all the little-kids who aren't allowed to stay up and for anyone who can't record the show.

Big Brother is an adult show and swearing is a fact of life, most people, if not everyone does it and so I'm really not bothered about hearing it on a TV show that's broadcast at a time where adults will be watching.

The housemate's swearing is the last thing on my mind when I watch the show.

I must be an oik so, cause I have a terrible swearing problem! And I am not what you would call young either!
