When you look back and compare to to BB of the last few years. then BB1 seems so innocent. Was great to watch at the time. But I feel a new fan looking back at it would be a bit shocked. I have never enjoyed a series as much as this one. It was new.

But it was spontaneous and wasn't done with any premeditated attempt to make money from it. It was natural how they did it and that's why it'd different to any contestants getting their kit off in the series now.

And you have to blame the tabloid newspapers for awarding house mates ex amount of cash to either get naked/have sex etc etc.

No it's not the tabloids that are responsible for the h/mates behaviour, they take the blame for that, but also the producers intentionally pick people they think will attract trouble and headlines
I dont enjoy it anywhere near like i used to
I still enjoy my food though

I am not blaming the tabloids for everything. However the tabloids and magazines have influenced house mates' behaviour over the course of many series.

I dont think it was innocent at all.

Caroline would probs be removed if she was in the later series for the way she broke down and went a bit loopy.

Nichola was very controvercial and her rants were pretty explosive.

Nick went round the whole house manipulating and turning everyone against each other even lying about having a dead wife.

And all the nakedness! They wouldnt even show Mario streaking this year but in BB1 they showed Mel trimming her minge, Nicola completley in the buff and Craigs huge swinging schlong!

The contestants in BB1 were given all the alcohol they ordered in bulk but in later series any alcohol the house ordered was rationed out to match the governments recomendations for units per person.

So to sum it up big brother 1 was far from innocent even comparing it to later series. If anything the last few years of Big Brother were very tame
