Default Why are there so many ethnic minorities, foreigners and immigrants in BB10?

I thought BB is supopsed to have housemates which represent our society.

So why are there so many ethnic minorities in the house?

I don't have a problem against any ethnicities, but it's not a fair representation of our country.

You clearly live in some backwards village if you think that a group of mixed ethnicities and sexual preferences doesn't represent our society/

I have to agree with you. And, when they have BB in places like Russia, South Africa and the USA they don't fill the House with foreigners so why do we? Yes, some representation by all means but frankly indigenous Brits are a minority in the House? Why? Political Correctness no doubt.

To be fair, I think BB represents the sort of Britain that is 'London' rather than the country as a whole. My town is majorly white caucasian.

Immigrant and foreigners are a representation of our country at the moment. So I'd say its accurate

As if if this wasn't covered enough on here when BB10 started. You really should try keeping up.

You could always write to OFCOM yet again and bore the sh*t out of them if it makes you feel better.

you do the math

Erm 100% of the UK is ethnic (some being ethnic Anglo-saxon. (i.e. originating in what is now Germany))

Your 5% value for gay (by which I assume someone with of your prejudice would include anyone who indulges in same gender sexual acivity) predates the internet age which has allowed many people to explore their wider interests incognito. Resarch suggests that a minimum of 40% of MALES do take advantage of this new opportunity. Time alone will tell what this means for the declared sexuality of UK population in 20 years time.

Look, I have no problem with having ethnics in the BB house.

But only 1/10 people in the UK are ethnic minorities.

So the BB house is clearly not a fair representation of our society, as there's a much higher % of people in there from an ethnic background.

I know we have a multicultural society, but the facts still show it's only about 1 in 10.

BB1 wasn't boring as ****. It was one of the best series, so fresh and innovative.

Obviously looking back now, it might look boring to you.

BUt at the time, it was amazing. Absolutely astonishing, and anything but boring
