THE FIRST SHOPPING TASK BEGINS ON TONIGHT's HIGHLIGHTS - 9PM ITV2 & ITVX Youtube video The first shopping task of the series has arrived and this week the Big Brother House has been turned into global company Big Bros Ltd. All of the housemates line-up behind the desks that have been set up in the lounge. Big Brother says: ”Over the next two days, you will be taking part in a series of tasks around the office in an effort to win a luxury shopping budget. If you fail to pass, you will receive an economy budget for the week.” Big Brother adds: “From this point on, Big Brother is CEO and you are all my employees.” Big Bros Ltd has a strict three-tier structure - the Big Wigs at the top who make all the important decisions, the Middle Management who run the company at ground level and the Bottoms who are to do whatever they’re told. Big Brother reveals that Yinrun, Henry and Trish have been selected as the Big Wigs. The Big Wigs collect their corporate uniform and get dressed and head to their office upstairs. Most of the food is removed from the house as the Big Wigs are provided with luxury meals whereas the Bottoms will be on basic rations. As Yinrun gets changed, she says: “When I put this on, I’ll look more like a boss.” The Big Wigs first task is to select five housemates to become Middle Management with the remaining eight housemates appointed as Bottoms. Hopefully they fail I feel like shopping tasks were just pointless in the C5 era since housemates never seemed to go without food and always had luxuries on tap regardless.

So far we have found out this much about the shopping task from watching the live feed: 'Big Bros LTD' is the corporation they are working for this week. The big wigs in charge are: Yinrun, Trish & Henry. Middles (in Office wear) Kerry, Paul, Matty & Zak. And Jordan in office wear but an Orange 'fire warden' bib. Jordan also has a white helmet with a red light on & a megaphone! Then the bottoms (Orange polo shirts & yellow safety bibs) are: Jenkin, Dylan, Chanelle, Noky, Farida, Olivia, Tom & Hallie. The big wigs n middles got to keep their duvets, but the bottoms only had thin grey blankets! The bigwigs can talk to the middles, but not the bottoms. Lots of people changed around beds to make it easier to remember who can talk to whom. The bigwigs are in the mezzanine room, which has been turned into an office. there was a plane on the desk & it's underside had some numbers on, including '1 9 8 4' they then talked about the book 1984, though only Henry knew who the author was & Yinrun (bless her) at one point asked what the actual name of the book was!!), Pretty sure none of them has ever read it. (dear readers, go read it or audio book, it is awesome!) Also Yinrun spent 10 minutes in front of the mirror fixing her bigwig under her chin, as it was getting really messy looking & Matty helped her!!!
