Danniella Westbrook Reported Offer for Celebrity Big Brother

Danniella Westbrook is the latest name to be rumoured in The Sun, with the newspaper reporting that the actress is being offered £200,000 to appear in the next series of Celebrity Big Brother - which starts in August. A source is quoted in newspaper: 'Drama seems to follow Danniella around so bosses think she will be a great housemate. 'The deal is also a massive financial boost after her recent spell of bad luck.' Update: She has tweeted that she is filming in August, and won't be going into Celebrity Big Brother: ----- The actress was linked in the press to a Celebrty BB appearance last December, for the Winter edition of the series, shown in January, but she denied being offered a place. Earlier this year she left the Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks, where she had been due to appear for eight episodes, before filming had begun. The TV company said she breached her contract but she said it was her own decision. Danniella Westbrook appeared in Eastenders between 1990 and 2006, and from 2009-10. She has also appeared on other reality shows such as I'm a Celebrity in 2003 and Dancing on Ice in 2010. Celebrity Big Brother 16 begins on Channel 5 in August 2015, with the date not yet confirmed.
