I remember reading the Noughts and Crosses series, it was about racism but in reverse, it was blacks who were the dominating race and whites were like the unheard minority and in her books there were constant reports of "blanks" doing suicide bombings. Certainly a very satisfying ending in the third book when Callie Rose's (Black Grandmother) gets rid of Jude (Callie's scummy white uncle) but I won't spoil how just in case you haven't or intend to read the book

It's about a black man who gets accused of rape I believe (I haven't got to that part yet) but it's the first book assignment book I'm not being asked to read, I actually read it by choice, which is new to me.

It's really interesting. But anyhow, the P.O.V is seen through the eyes of Scout, the daughter of Atticus Finch (presumably the man accused of rape) and for some reason her older brother Jem (Jeremy) really reminds me of you for some reason

I'd suggest you read it, it's pretty funny at the start (although I'm only on page 55 )
