God I have so much respect for trans people. Being from a small island and moving to London I've seen a range of attitudes towards trans issues. I have a trans aunt who was pretty much disowned by my catholic family and although we've never got along I will always respect her for being her.

I feel like LGBT issues have really become a major player in recent discussion and I think that trans people will have a higher level of acceptance sooner than we may think. The progression for LGB people these past few years have been fantastic and I can only hope the same for trans people soon.
