20th Century Fox will reboot its Hitman franchise.
Fast & Furious 6 actor Paul Walker is attached to star in the Square Enix video game adaptation, according to Deadline.
Retitled Agent 47, the action film has A Good Day To Die Hard's Skip Woods and Michael Finch attached to write the script, and will be helmed by ad director Aleksander Bach in his feature debut.
Walker will play the shaven-headed, barcode-tattooed assassin, who was previously portrayed by Timothy Olyphant.
The 2007 Hitman film was a critical flop but grossed $100 million (£63.9 million) worldwide.
Agent 47 will begin shooting in Berlin and Singapore this June.
