That is so terribly sad I am glad he had his belief, it must have helped so very much to sustain him at times. So sad he was taken at such a young age though

I read about it but haven't watched a video yet. There was an interesting comment in dailymail that people that experience near death always seem to see heaven with the warm light and everything but nobody ever experiences hell. That is true. I want to hear someone that stood in front of the gates of hell gosh darnit. I want them to tell us that they saw elvis, james dean and Heath ledger shoveling bloody coal into a fire while walking barefoot on burning ground.

I believe near death experience is caused by a massive release of dimethyltryptamine from your brains pineal gland.
I'm amazed people always jump to the spiritual conclusion. Your brain is more than capable of coming up with some weird out stuff all on it's own. |

It doesn't matter if God or heaven is real or not, it's still nice to know that death isn't scary eigther way. It's really sad that he's gone now, but at least we know he really is resting in peace, and it was actually a nice experience for him.
I don't really fear death, but i do fear dying. I'm scared of how overwhelming the actual FEAR will be in that moment that you know yu are dying, so the fact that when he did die a few times, he wasn't very scared and he felt comforted by something (whether angels or a release of brain chemicals it doesn't matter) is very reassuring.

I don't know what to believe, the universe is a magnificent place, science is only scratching the surface. It's not beyond logic and reason to assume there are forces we don't know about, but I do agree that the whole "God" thing is rather silly.

I don't believe in a Christian God, but there is yet to be a Scientific truth that contradicts the possibility of something existing beyond our understanding. I wouldn't attribute the kid's visions to something supernatural though, I think it's more likely the brain was playing tricks on him. Sad video all the same Last edited by MTVN; 29-12-2011 at 11:24 AM. |
