but yes i love soaps


most of the eastenders episodes i did see were almost all with Max in it


so yeah i do know a few of the characters

Actually, it would make sense. He saved Eastenders the last time it was in a state after the Newman and Kirkwood era and pushed the show back to number 1 soap when Emmerdale had been constantly beating it. He's got his critics, but he knows how to get bums on seats.

He's under contract just now at the moment so maybe John has extended to wait for him?

DTC just wanted a break as he said he didn't get any time off in 3 years. Maybe he's ready to go back now he's had two years off?

I actually wouldn't want DTC to return at the moment.

She'd be great for the show, but my issue would be it would be her third soap in a row. She's brilliant but I don't think anybody has that many different stories to tell within such fast succession of each other. Queen needs a break!

Although there's a picture somewhere of Oates and SOC at an awards ceremony somewhere and they're chatting at the bar and I love the idea that Oates was talking to him knowing that she would somehow take his job one day
