My main hope is just a bit more freedom in the games, or at least have some decisions you make have choices. I doubt we’ll ever get proper open world but having a choice of routes to take at some point etc would be nice.
And I don’t reallr see the point in them allowing you to answer some questions know when they have no impact it’s always like
“Are you enjoying having your own Pokemon”
And the options are “I love it” or “Its ok” like Let us have some impact!

I think that’s just more due to the translation. Pokemon is known for having weird dialogue due to its translation. I’m quite shocked it’s so lazy for such a big licenced title lmao

I would kinda like that but my problem is I find gen 5 Pokemon the most forgettable. I reckon I couldn’t even name half of them off the top of my head - so if they are all gonna be new they would have to all somehow standout

This. Sick of seeing metapod and pikachu in every ‘new’ region. Black and white was the last good Pokemon game. It was familiar in all the right ways and unfamiliar in all the right ways.

64 wouldn't be too surprising, giving Kalos only introduced 72 original pokemon (although they also introduced 48 mega evolutions, so you could argue it was "120". Gen 7 brought us 88 new pokemon and 18 Alola forms, which brings it too 116 "new" Pokemon. 117 if you count Ash-Greninja So hopefully we see a number that's above 100, which is standard)

Of course, if there's only 64 new pokemon, they could round it out to a higher number using new forms (not seen these armoured forms, besides a news article saying "Armoured Mewtwo" was trademarked)

I can't say I was a fan of Black and White. I'm sure I'd like Gen V if I went back to it but I don't hold a high opinion of it. It did introduce one of my favourite Pokemon ever though (Whimsicott )

No I mean the Pokémon are literally knock off of Gen 1, at least the other gens have SOME originality but Gen V is TRASH like

I'm enjoying Let's Go Pikachu but I don't like how they dumbed down some of the RBY puzzles - in Gen1, you'd have to work out that you can buy a drink from the vending machines for the Saffron City gate guards, but in Let's Go it's literally spelled out

well I've not finished it yet, but I'm enjoying it, it's pretty much Yellow but simpler. I don't mind the Pokemon in the overworld thing, it's quite cute tbh. Though I don't like the catching mechanics, after my op I'll have temporarily (I hope!) reduced arm mobility so I hope I've caught everything I want by then, but either way having to flick the nunchuck/aim with the handheld mode is a bit annoying. The battles look good.
