Read it again Oliver, Labour (10) and Conservatives (3) make up the "???" group that I've split down the middle. I say that's "generous" because I suspect more than half of the Labour vote will be down to "lifelong voting patterns" - always have and always will vote labour - but would probably not vote "leave" in an EU vote.

I have literally no idea how you came to the conclusion that I put the Labour and Tory votes as all anti-Brexit

A lot on twitter seem to be doing all they can to make out hard brexit won this by a landlslide. Accusing others of manipulating the votes while..manipulating the votes.

The only way to do it (as you did), when estimating on this, is to split Labour and Tories down the middle, as thats how they seem. But I would agree that Labour are more anti brexit in general, but splitting evenly is clearly the fair way to do it. Not to..as I have seen...put Tories in hard brexit and put Labour in their own category to make out that Hard brexit 'won'

i think a lot on twitter an face book are pissed they called the Euro ref wrong 3 years ago, they called Trump wrong when he won, they called the GE wrong when the tories won and they now have to endure Nigel winning again

Its an awful lot of defeats in a row and for some perhaps too much to take?

Its the other side manipulating results Otherwise you may have a point.

I am rather enjoying the meltdowns from those who said the Brexit party would do nothing, and the conspiracy theories that have popped up on my FB feed though. Even though obviously, I am a leftie. Still fun to watch the hell on from those who cannot take that others have a different opinion.

I mean... the referendum result was a shock, Trump was a shock to most but I personally feel by that point the "tides" were starting to look pretty clear (hence betting on him winning). I don't think these EU election figures are a shock to anyone at all? They're pretty much as expected, surely.

People will try to argue that they show an appetite for remain. People will try to declare it a "Farage Win" and an indication that there's an appetite for hard Brexit.

What they show in reality is exactly the things we already know:

1) The country is still split almost exactly down the middle on Brexit.

2) Brexiteers are still split on whether they want a deal, or hard Brexit.

3) People have become disillusioned with the mainstream parties.

4) Scotland wants nothing to do with this Westminster shambles .

"Scotland wants nothing to do with this Westminster shambles" Posted by Scottish Toy Soldier

TS you are stuck in it.
you can not get a Scottish 2nd vote.

The New PM
will not waste time with your Demands
as you are part of the UK by LAW

Don't be so sure sunshine.
Any attempts like that will only strengthen the independence movement

Default Nigel Farage demands seat at Brexit negotiating table

Nigel Farage demands seat at Brexit negotiating table and says European elections victory 'is just the beginning'

Nigel Farage has demanded a seat at the Brexit negotiating table and warned
Labour and the Tories his party’s victory in the European Parliament elections “is
just the beginning”.

The leader of The Brexit Party said winning 28 seats at a national poll after
launching in April demonstrated the level of voter anger over the Government’s
failure to take the UK out of the European Union.

Mr Farage said he and his MEPs stood ready to “take responsibility” for Brexit
and join negotiations with Brussels.

“The new date is the 31st of October. We in the Brexit Party have got men
and women of considerable business experience, we want to be part of that
negotiating team, we want to take responsibility for what is happening and
we are ready to do so.

“I hope the Government is listening. I have to say this: If we don’t leave on
October 31 then the scores you have seen for The Brexit Party today will be
repeated in a general election and we are getting ready for it.”

He added: “History has been made. This is just the beginning.”

When Trump comes to visit 3 June who do you think he wants to see?

Option 1 A failed outgoing PM

Option 2 An indecisive aged Marxist

Option 3 Nigel Farage

Answer:

The Leader of the most powerful and richest Nation in the world will want to speak with our man Sir Nigel Farage

Well Done Anne
the new Brexit Party MEP.

If Boris (if he is the new PM) says he will do a No deal Exit
she said she and Leader Nigel will believe that when it happens
on October the 31st.

Which is why Nigel
is getting ready for the Next General Election.

As the Conservatives keep Failing.
