Companies like Amazon, Apple and Starbucks owe us billions in tax, yet rather than go after them for it, the Tories see fit to give them tax cuts every year, take them to court, get their owed tax off of them and put it into the national services that desperately need the money, but no, They’d rather keep them happy and save money by taking it from the poor and vulnerable.

Yeah, lower taxes are beneficial for everyone. If the "Fat Cats" are making more money, they'll be able to hire more employees, give them better pay, and not charge huge prices for their goods or services.

Having more money in people's pockets is a good thing because it stimulates the economy - money being spent supports businesses, which gets further spent, and goes round and round. The money still goes to government eventually, through business rates, VAT, and the business owners paying taxes. It just does more good on the way than just falling into the hole of waste.

This basically.

How have we reached the point where the special relationship is led by a bigoted, childish racist and this bumbling idiot?

its called democracy, you are welcome to get elected and exact change and serve the public. You chose to write books for personal profit - dont lambast those that put their neck on the line for trying. If you dont like him you can vote for another numpty in the next election.

And i would not let rich Danish comedians sway your political thoughts tbh

In what universe is 0.2% of the population voting for this in any way democracy? The public hasn’t had a say in our leader since Cameron. And look at the division and mess that has resulted since then.

I also don’t get the relevance of the BIB. She hasn’t swayed me, I happen to completely agree.

Is that including the 40% of older people who voted to remain? I suspect not

'The results found that 64% of those young people who were registered did vote, rising to 65% among 25-to-39-year-olds'

From post brexit polling.
https://www.theguardian.com/politics...?cmp=wp-plugin

Only 1% separated the under 24s from the under 40s....

Its how our politics is agreed and run - its not just made up on the hoof. Boris doing the month of hustings etc is the proper process and labour, had they been in a similar situation have a similar method.

Rubbish that's quite an ageist comment, brexit voters were lied to they voted on lies about money for the NHS and Turkey joining the EU...you knew nothing.

and how many do you think understood what the role of the EU was and how we fit in and how many thought they were voting to geographically leave Europe...?
