How about we stop trying to normalise corruption and actually be mad at the guy who used taxpayer money to fund his affair? |

So you call her a hussy, yet you have no criticism for him, and find this story boring just because it paints him in a bad light? Smells like misogyny, looks like misogyny, and it is misogyny.
We truly are a pathetic, spineless nation that would cheer on being dickslapped by Boris than hold him accountable for his corruption. |

There's a difference between a campaign by the papers against one woman with "a source said" and "we've been told" with no other goal than to make her miserable and the Prime Minister, a known cheat, having one of his mistresses spilling the details on his professional conduct. No one has said we should believe every word that comes out of her mouth, but it's certainly allegations that should be treated a lot more seriously than "Who made who cry over wedding dresses?". I know Boris has his faults .. but I’m pretty sure that he isn’t the first political figure to fall under the spell of a persuasive, younger woman ... even the happily married Prime Minister John Major was seduced . I just think that despite Boris’s failings that he’s a kind , caring soul . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro Last edited by Zizu; 30-03-2021 at 03:09 PM. |

Delaying first Covid lockdown may have inadvertently saved more lives than it cost "Dr Raghib Ali, a senior clinical research associate at the university's MRC Epidemiology Unit, said Britain's relatively late lockdown meant more people were infected in the spring, when underlying pressure on the NHS was relatively light, meaning they were protected by antibodies come winter – when the service traditionally struggles to cope." https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/202...ed-lives-cost/ |

However I get told not to whine on and bring my personal losses into issues like the pandemic. He hasn't saved lives at all, he's been pushed all the way to do the right thing. Yes he got the vaccines right, because for the first time he allowed the right people and organisations to ensure the roll out HOWEVER there are thousands of families, of which I and my family are one, just waiting for the public inquiry, where they can then present their evidence to it of how his and his Ministers procrastinated decisions and policy helped contribute to the losses of their loved ones lives. A public inquiry he keeps on about having but kicks into the long grass, my guess is to hold off as long as possible holding it, to ensure it cannot present it's conclusions until AFTER the next election. There's never been a more deceitful PM across the board as this one is.. Personally as to his personal life, I care not a jot what he got up to. Professionally as to politics, he is nothing but one of the very worst of deceitful and politically lying individuals. Last edited by joeysteele; 30-03-2021 at 04:56 PM. |

I know many politicians who really work hard and are in politics for the right reasons. From all the Parties. The electoral system and the Party machine system, is what causes a great many problems. Even to their Parties, all of the Parties but certainly the main 2, many individuals elected to parliament are just numbers. For parliamentary votes. No though, I know of MPs who are incredibly dedicated and care, and who work really hard too. Both in Parliament and in their constituencies. So no way can I agree.
