Tbf, I do see some men on the Internet have a fit because women play Football.

I'm not sure if it's as extreme as Aluko's making it out to be, but it isn't a really small number of people either.

And to nitpick for a second, but isn't sexism and misogyny the same thing essentially?

The only complaint I see .. and very regularly is all the largely unknown female pundits hired to impart their ( dubious) expertise/ experience on the men’s games … at the same time pushing well known / liked/ respected male pundits out of the back door ..


Crazy thing is the very same women also appear on the women’s games AS WELL where there are no men to be seen ..

Tbh I can understand that complaint because it is unfair to the male Pundits, because it's okay for women to provide commentary on men's Football, but it's not okay for men to provide commentary on women's Football, that's hypocrisy and these Channels need to do better.

However I have seen just on TalkSport's comment section on YouTube alone, people mocking women's Football even being a thing, obviously it's not everyone that comments on there (because for example I don't say that stuff) but I have seen a fair few on there behave in a hostile way towards women's Football, and imo there's no need for some of it.

I get it if you're just not keen on the Sport, but some people take their dislike of women's Football to an extreme.

Tbh the same can be said for some of the people that don't like men's Football as well.

I'm talking mainly about the people that I've seen on YouTube and Twitter, who really have their issues with women's Football even existing.

I can agree with you to a point.

The only thing that I will say, is how are any of these women suppose to prove that they're there on merit if they're never given a chance? It's all about balancing this sort of stuff out, something that Football hasn't quite fully worked out yet.

Zidane won't come to united. He doesn't fit the new roll that the new owners want a manager to fulfil. United haven't contacted any replacements, so at the moment it's Ten Hag
