Default Davina McCall: 'BB10 was show at its best'

I actually agree 100% with this short article, Big Brother was at its best this year.

I have never been obsessed with a BB series before, but this year I have to say that I am.

Best series since Big Brother 5. It's my second fave. It's been amazing.

There is still too much manipulation by BB- they should be impartial.
I didn't like how Kris was sacrificed & how the bullying of Freddie was not discussed with Lisa & her nasty gang.
The reverse psychology on BBBM & BBLB is annoying.

Same here, I've been watching religeously, which is something iv never done before. Its also been easier findin the time to watch now that we can watch on 4od, as im usually out the house the normal time bb is on.

loved every second and struggling to come to terms with next year being the last series

It depends if you want to forget about weeks 2-6 and the last couple of weeks or not

BB9 shat allover BB10 imo. I usually get nostalgic about BB as Davina says in the article but this time I'm completely unaffected and not even bothered by CBB7 or BB11

its a shame the ratings were so low seeing as this has been the best series in a long time

OMG you serious?? BB9 was lame! I stopped watching BB9 for about a week because Rex and his girlfriend was peein me off seriously the whole show was about them. The best thing about BB9 was Luke.

And come on, Rachael Rice won BB9 for godsake LOL

BB9 was awful, I hated most of the housemates and didn't watch more than a couple of weeks. I agree, this is the best BB for years, and it certainly produced two of the best HMs EVER (Freddie and Marcus), by a long way.

Is Davina eating proper or what? Ok, in terms of contestants yes, this series had alot going for it but the production and general decision making carried out by Big Brother leaves a bad taste in the mouth for me. So on those terms alone she can't be saying it's up there with the best shows because the production team didn't put on a show!

I disagree with most of that.

It didn't go back to basics at all. Marcus should have been thrown out, along with Siavash and Freddie was also close to being thrown out as well - yet they allowed all of this.

It was hardly the best. I think BB1, BB2, BB3, BB4, BB5, BB7, BB9 were easily better than this one.

A lack of Siavash and Marcus would have made it a lot better. We would have seen more of the friendlier less scowling housemates and there would have been more laughs.

In the end, it turned out that the rule breaking housemates were suffering from a massive dose of short man syndrome.

They had some great HM's this year but that's about it.

The lack of basic effort made by the production team, the lack of proper punishment for rule breaks and the rule allowing HM's to talk about noms spoilt a lot of it for me.

BB are lucky it even turned out to be as good as it did.

This year doesn't even make my Top 5 favourite years tbh.

the only thing that kept me going in BB9 was Darnell Rex and Luke
so it was a major disappointment when Luke got evicted and Darnell and Rex were the first ones out on final

I thoroughly enjoyed BB10 a great improvement, apart from the last week which was not so good, shame the live feed was axed as i think with that the ratings would have been a lot better and it would have got the press coverage and people talking about it which it deserved.
