Moderators are human on all forums as far as Im aware. So accusations of bias will always prevail no matter what the system.

To be honest, I would like to be a mod because i'm not part of any clique at all, but like LemonJam told me, I feel excluded from everyone else, because of these stupid cliques.

The grammar and spelling thing was sarcastic, because, of course I'm not going to edit every single post on here.

But I would try my best at the ganging up on people and the bullying on here, because that isn't impossible to tackle.

I agree though. Giving formal warning for double posting is a bit much. I was just giving an example.

I think what would be a good idea though, is for anyone that does break the rules, a mod can correct the post/reply to the rule-breaker explaining their fault and that if they do it again, they will receive a warning/infraction.

It will always happen to some extent on any forum. Even when its against someone who seems like a troll but is making a perfectly valid point. And sometimes Mods get carried away with the mob too.

The 'group' defence is nothing more then a deflection used by people who are in the ropes in an argument.

It wasn't about right or wrong - it was about opinions! Mine wasn't popular - didn't think it would be! But one or two people were not just disagreeing - they were being aggressive and insulting - as usual! Some people it seems can't disagree without being extremely rude and offensive about it - and is based on personal issues - not the topic matter! That is what I objected to!

Good, its good you have a realistic view of what you could achieve. A lot of Mods on forums take on the job and see the appointment through rose tinted glasses.

When the results they want dont appear, disillusionment and disappointment set in and gradually the time they spend on the forums drops, till its a random pop on every now and again.

In the case of that thread it WASN'T about opinion, it asked if they actually existed and they do, you got a lot of hate because you had an inflammatory views like I got a lot of hate for my opinions on Cyber bullying. Perhaps. I think they did say there will be a few new mods for when BB comes on. I just hope they choose the right people.

I did argue my point - but was often shouted down by one or two other members - which both myself and said members knew was not really about the topic (my unpopular views just provided the excuse needed) - just personal!

And no matter what you say - some people do team up - cliques do exist - I am hardly the only one who thinks that! If you are not aware of them - maybe you need to open your eyes more!
