Lonesome Dove. Not a film by the strictest of terms, this mini-series has a wonderful cast and production design that do justice to the source material - an epic Western novel written by Larry McMurtry. I don't know how many times I've come back to watch it again over the years and at this stage I don't care because it's just a beautifully crafted piece that I never get tired of. With it's rich characters, multi-layered storyline and stunningly sparse and poetic dialogue, this is a piece of work that transcends the boundaries usually associated with the Western and becomes something so much more real and affecting. Basically, I think it's a masterpiece. Oh, and it helps when you have Robert Duvall and Tommy Lee Jones playing the main roles!

The last kiss. Quite a good film with a few mild sex scenes. Was about a man (Zac Braff) who knew what was going to happen in his life next. He felt his life was all planned out for him. He then met the beautiful (Rachel Bilson) at a wedding! He thought he was missing something from his life.. something not predictable. He then went on to cheat on his pregnant girlfriend with Rachel Bilson.... only to realise that his pregnant girlfriend is the one he really wants. He then does all what he can to win her back.. he sat outside his pregnant girlfriend's front porch for days on end.. slept outside.. until finally.. his pregnant girlfriend let him back in The End.
A rom comish film worth the watch |

Death at a Funeral.
Got free tickets to see so I can't complain. Quite funny and enjoyable, some classic one-liners, but other parts felt slow and were trying to hard to get a laugh. 6/10.
