He is not being voted for because he has the X Factor though is he?it's a campaign to get at Cheryl and Simon,So I can understand the contestants getting pissed with it,it is like you being in a competition, knowing you are good and someone who is not so good coming in and taking that chance away from you and lets face it they are ALL better than Wagner.

Matt has a fantastic voice but his attitude stinks. I'll vote for whoever in the final with him.

It's none of his business how the public vote - Wagner is there because he has been voted, to stay by the PUBLIC, for whatever reason - the contestants' views are irrelevant. If people think he is spoiling their favourite's chances direct blame where it lies, towards Cheryl and Simon who perversely kept Katie in when it was obvious the public don't rate here. IMO Cher and Katie do not deserve to be there at all and yet, surprise, surprise, there they still are, clinging on by their untalented fingernails.

To be fair on Matt, they did ask him. When pushed further, he showed respect by not naming names. Even though it's obvious to all who he was talking about. Why is it obvious to all? Because it's *******ing true.

Exactly, that Konnie one was insisting he tell all.he was upset he lost his mate last week and now Paije, everyone seems scared to say what they think about Wagner,Why? it's a program aimed at giving opinions.

Matt's attitude is just harming his own popularity, it's not going to dent Wagner's in the slightest. Everyone on that show (except maybe Simon) seems to be under the impression that the more they sell bad press about Wagner, the more it will affect his popularity - this is not the case - the more they slag him off, the more popular he gets. Literally any swipe anyone makes at him is just going to guarantee him more votes; I know lots of people think it's purely a campaign to "wipe the smile off Simon's face", and I'm sure for most people it is, but from my point of view, this is so much more than that.
It's a message on many levels. It's a message to the producers that if they let Louis Walsh put through a bad joke of an act, the public are going to push the joke until it stops being funny. I'm sure they were hoping for a Jedward situation whereby Wagner and/or Diva Fever would reach the halfway point and then bow out to the serious talent, but that just simply isn't going to happen anymore with Wagner. It's a message that says normal people CAN actually go onto the X Factor nowadays and succeed, it's not simply a show for people who have been trying desperately to become famous and have been sent along by a talent agency. It's a message that the viewing public won't just be coerced into voting for whoever their biased editing dictates we should vote for; they were pushing Cher and Katie down our throats and it's blown up in their faces. Finally, it's a good way of uncovering the contestants for what they really are - Matt's been exposed as petulant and bitchy, so have Cheryl Cole, Dannii Minogue, whichever members of One Direction have been mouthing off about Wagner, Aiden... It completely takes away the characters that the X Factor have presented to us, false images, and here's why Wagner clinches my support - in spite of all of these awful people, he's still smiling, he's still diplomatic and he's still worth a thousand times of them all. It astonishes me that people can be offended by Katie Waissel's awful treatment in the media yet Wagner getting a tough time of it from the media AND the judges, contestants et al is barely commented on? This guy has the patience of a saint. I really, honestly, want him to win. It means so much more than just "oh this will annoy Simon Cowell". -breathes- Last edited by Z; 22-11-2010 at 11:50 AM. |

I never took the 'joke' comment as a dig at Wagner but more so a dig at the 'sing offs' and the ridiculous judges choices after them i.e Voting off talented contestants i.e Aiden that clearly sung better in the sing offs in favour of people that appear in the tabloids more often.
Also did anyone hear simons comments on the xtra factor? Regarding talented acts leaving the competition he commented with something along the lines of 'Dont worry the best act will eventually win'. I took this as 'Ill fck about with numerous half decent contestants along the way to keep the show entertaining but the acts i presume to be the best will eventually win. The show has become so contrived, if it continues this way i dont see it lasting as long as it could have done without the fixed judges voting. |

Matt was a ****ing sly, cowardly little ***** for just saying it's a joke and nothing more. He should have either S.T.F.U. or full on told Wagner to his face what his problem was.

If reports are true, he has told Wagner what the problem is. Unlike Cheryl, Matt has better taste to do it in private rather than on national TV.

spot on!! bottom line.....X Factor is a TALENT contest. Louis is to blame. Every other contestant, including those who have already gone, has more talent in one finger than Waghead has in his whole body, Louis had a female singer who was actually good who he SHOULD have picked as his wildcard. Wagner gives me the creeps, he is a vile vile man.

No, he probably shouldn't have but like I said Konnie really pushed him, he never mentioned Wagners name but Konnie was the one who said Oh you're looking over that direction. Tbh what Cheryl did on live TV to Wagner was far worse

Why not? He's only saying what everyone's thinking? And he was asked. It's not like he jumped on the presenter, wrestled the mic from her, and then spewed filth about someone. He was asked a question and he answered it. If these questions aren't supposed to be answered, then they shouldn't be asked.

Lets face it, he's right. Wagner should of gone weeks ago. Its a singing competition to find someone that will have a recording contract. Would you honestly buy Wagner's album and enjoy it?

I know he's right, I'm a big Matt fan but I suppose he's not directing his anger at the right person, imo it's the judges fault for putting him through and the peoples fault for voting for him. Does he really expect Wagner to say "actually I'm not very good so I'm going to leave?"

Public can vote for who they want-Louis put Wagner on the show.Cowell could've over-ruled him as its his show.Hes probably thrilled about the publicity Wagners bringing-apart from him the shows dull and a bit crap.
