Default Carling Nations Cup 2011

The Nations Cup is a future biennial international association football tournament involving the national teams of Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales. The tournament was initially proposed by then Northern Ireland manager Lawrie Sanchez in 2006.
On 12 August 2010, it was announced that the tournament will be sponsored by brewing company Carling, and known for sponsorship reasons as the Carling Nations Cup

Format

The Nations Cup will be structured as a round robin with a single game between each team resulting in a total of six games in each of the competitions. Three of the teams involved (Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland) formerly competed in the now defunct British Home Championship, along with England.
The tournament was due to start in 2009, but was delayed until 2011 due to World Cup qualifying fixtures already being in place. Under the proposed format, matches would be played in February and May, with the location rotating on a tournament-by-tournament basis. The first tournament featuring the four teams is scheduled to be played in Dublin in 2011.
The Football Association of Wales believes that England may join at a later date if they can be convinced that there are "practical solutions" to problems like fixture congestion. In early 2011, it was reported by BBC Sport that the British Home Championship may be revived in 2013. Later indications suggest England may compete in a one-off tournament in 2013 to mark the 150th anniversary of The Football Association.

Odds

EV Republic of Ireland
10-3 Scotland
4 Wales
9-2 Northern Ireland

Just seen the Scotland Squad now and it looks strong, so will be putting something on the to win the Competition. All the teams aren't to far apart Quality wise though so it should be close

Just another way for squads to lose important players to injury, glad England aren't involved.
