Personally, I have no problem with this clip. It must have been a terribly frustrating couple of days for the cops, being spat at, insulted and abused by a thicket of chavs while having their hands tied by the liberal sociologists that now run the the police. After some of the appalling things I've seen in the last couple of days, one bloke getting a smack (and remember, we can't really see what's going on) seems small-fry in comparison.
