I think Jacqueline Jossa is a great actress! I love Lauren.

And did last night's episode seem a bit... Hollyoaks-ish for anyone else? Just with the ending and the music and stuff. I kinda liked it, but it seemed very teen-y.

EastEnders is trying to explore the teens in detail, although this is still Kirkwood's era and he worked at Hollyoaks but I liked the episode, shame that some people slag off Hollyoaks and don't even watch it because when the show does a big storyline e.g. Silas it is at it's best.

Tonight's episode was fantastic. I think Emer Kenny did a great job and I hope she sticks around and writes more episodes for EastEnders!

helauarrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr you are all waking up - this is all teenybobbers stuff - today we had the first clipse of what a soap should be about - real life issues and not comedy such as alfie tyle - derek etc etc.

It wasn't a bad episode but it had a huge "been there, done that" element to it. Felt very much like Whitney's rebellion last year. And I don't really like that they've put more focus on Lauren's drinking than they did on Tanya's cancer which is odd.

I enjoyed Shirley's rant at Ben. Phil running away to Grant again when the going gets tough.

I'm enjoying Roxy getting more involved in the Mitchell family matters!

Abi and Jay are lovely together, their relationship is not based on sex and they are the best teen characters by far.

Alice seems lovely and they needed to make Derek more than just a pantomime villain.

Everyone was on top form and you could just feel the tension building up in Phil. Ben is so annoying No wonder he snapped. That Alice doesn't seem too bad either

i agree alice look good - and yes it was a ok episode - but it is no where near where it is meant to be - and EE is taking rap in the press so i am not the only one that feels like this.
