..also, the reason for the thread is that I just read a story..(China)..when a boyfriend jumped to his death because his girlfriend wanted to go to another clothes shop....

Also I cannot stand shopping with my female friends. As soon as they utter the word "shopping" I walk off and tell them I'll meet them later.

I hate shopping, when I have to go I prefer to go by myself so I can get it done as fast as possible and get the hell out of there

Yeah, the people who just stop and stand there in a crowded shop and you just want to smack them with your shopping bag.
I was in a card shop yesterday, it was a really narrow shop and you couldn't move without bumping into some woman with three sheets of A4 paper buying dozens of cards. I thought sod this, I'll make my own. |

Ok here's what annoys me:
People who can't drive a ********* trolley. People who pick up deliberately damaged goods and take them to the till in front of me and spend half an hour bartering with the poor till lady. Staff who see you as some sort of problem when you ask them a question Shopping at peak times Them friggin beepers at the front of the shop. No I didn't steal anything! When you go to a shop for something specific and it's sold out (yes that's my fault but it still annoys me) Going shopping with women. Seriously. This sounds incredibly sexist but I don't care, it seems the case in my family women can stare at an object for like 20 minutes deliberating over whether to get it or not. With other males I can be in and out in minutes. People who stand in the middle of the isle and don't move. Last edited by Kyle; 10-12-2013 at 09:25 AM. |

I hate queueing, I will put everything back and walk out rather than queue for longer than 5 minutes, 10 at a push

I also hate when going into a shop and the staff immediately hound you for assistance. **** off and leave me alone, if I want help I will ask for it.

I can't go shopping with my mother because she's someone who spends ages in the shampoo section. She actually reads the sodding labels.
I'm like, buy what you normally buy and go home. |

yes, this drives me mad. Also when you go to pay and they say "do you need any stamps, phone top ups, blah de blah blah?" If I wanted the fecking things I would ask for them or already have them in my basket! pFFT!

Yeah, that's annoying in America. You get told to "have a nice day" about 50 times a day in the most insincere tone of voice I've ever heard.

This happens to me all the time, even the security guards. they even insist on it with me because I'm young and they think I'm gonna steal stuff.

When I have time, I don't mind queueing as I get a chance a good bit of the time to chat to others in the queue.
What I really don't like, and I know they likely have to bring the children along at the time,is when parents bring their small children and drag them round the store and do nothing but yell at the child/children for crying or moaning. It does seem even some parents forget that small children have smaller legs than them and that shopping in a big store can be really hard and boring for them too. |

I love shopping normally but it's awful at this time of year because of the other people tbh.
People that bump into you. Stand too close to you. Stand on your toes Cough all over the place without covering their mouths (I detest these people) People that can't push a trolley. People that stop in the middle of a shopping isle to have an hour long conversation with someone they meet 'Hello people are trying to shop here you ignorant bastards' |

Oops, I am guilty of that, not standing in the middle of an aisle but I am often in the way of shoppers. Sometimes they get pulled in to the conversation I am having though, does that make it a 'tiny' bit better. I am getting better at it now however, if I meet someone I know and haven't seen for a while, I will ask if they have time for a coffee and go to the restaurant or cafe part of the store with them. Sometimes I am in there for hours. |

Being behind someone in a queue who, when he/she gets to the front of it, asks the cashier if [s]he can quickly run and grab something.

Having to pay for it is by far the worst thing about shopping.
Most of mine is done online or I try and go midweek when it is a bit quieter. |
