The fact it isn't just goes to show what a lame, shallow and unrealistic 'relationship' they have.
I think they both decided before entering the house that they would aim to find someone to have sex with. There is no love, no vibe, no build up between them.
Kimberly has not once spoken about any feelings towards Steven - he just tells her what she feels and she just mumbles in agreement with an empty disinterested face.
