Diced Stewing Steak, Turnip, Leeks, Carrot, Potatoes, Onion and a tin of tomatoes in my slow cooker.

So basically the end result will be a beef stew.

I have a massive gammon cooking in my slow cooker right now, already smells amazing and when it's done I will slice it up, use some for tonight's dinner, some for soup and the rest for sandwiches.

Once that's done I will be making a massive amount of beef stew to serve with crusty/garlic bread for Hogmanay.

Low's better - less chance of burning yourself when you keep nicking bits off it.
