With the rumours that this series is late to start (apparently) it looks likely that they'll do the first eviction on Day 4 to get a head start. I can see the length being around 60-65 days - and they'll probably have 16 housemates.

If it was a double I think they would have mentioned it.

At 72 days it'll either be first eviction on day 4 so they have enough room to put in late entrants/bring back housemates (for the theme) unlike when they did in BB15 or the first eviction will be on Day 11 and the first Friday live show will be a twist.

I don't think it will run for 72 days. The final would be on a Wednesday if that is to happen, my guess is either 70 days with the final on the monday (bb13) or it's extended to 74 days with the final being the friday

There are 72 episodes, which I would think equates to 72 days - it could be including split eviction shows, but they only did that once last year and they've got nothing to fill the gap (RIP Stand By Your Man, we barely knew ye), so 72 days is the most plausible guess.

Just found out.

I've been going with a Wednesday 13th May launch, for a while now - though I've been doubtful since the hype plummeted, and most of us thought it was launching in late May - Early June. But I'm glad my prediction was close.

I'm not too keen on a Tuesday launch - it doesn't feel right, IMO. All I can say is that I hope they don't have a eviction on the Friday of the same week (Day 4) like they did with Victoria in BB13, that would be too early. I think Day 11 (22nd May) for the first eviction is perfect.

I can see a "twist" happening on Friday 15th May. Probably Face to Face Nominations, like they did on CBB15, on Day 3.

Glad it's a single launch. Much better for ratings, and the hype. Hope it's a two hour launch, like CBB14 and CBB15. Then it won't feel rushed with the 16 housemates entering, and the obligatory launch night twist.

I have exam season from Monday 11th - Thursday 21st May, but I doubt that will affect me too much. Probably won't watch BOTS for the two weeks, with the exception of the launch, and Fridays.

That's what I'm hoping.

A normal launch on Tuesday, with no twists, then a teaser for a big twist on Friday. Then come Friday instead of an eviction there can be a big twist that involves 5 or less housemates entering the house a few days late.

I'm guessing some twist will begin on launch though and there will be a reveal of it on Friday to the housemates.

Friday 24th July sounds plausible.

I don't mind a Wednesday final. But, I don't see why they can't finish the series on the Friday. Finales are meant to be on Friday, IMO.

That gives them a three week break for CBB, which could launch on Wednesday 12th August, lasting till Friday 11th September.

I really wanted a Friday launch! Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday launches are bad, but Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday finals are much worse IMO!
