In Nintendos latest financial report
https://www.nintendo.co.jp/ir/pdf/2016/160427e.pdf Also, Zelda is delayed again, but will also be coming to the NX. Apparently no NX at E3... cause you know, typical Nintendo have no idea what marketing is.

Well this is a shock. Perhaps it will use AMD's new technology (Polaris).
I wonder if they know a PS4K is coming this year and that would steal all the thunder. Maybe even they want to announce it at their own event rather than at E3. Again a PS4K would steal all thunder if announced. Or even the NX isn't as powerful as the PS4K and they want to top it. Someone on GAF said: Quote:
Edit: According to Nikkei : "Features, price, software at launch and other details to be announced by the end of the year". It'll have its own event then. Last edited by Ryan57; 29-04-2016 at 06:37 PM. |

It looks like it's going to be both a home console and a handheld in one! It has detachable controllers.
Handheld that connects to your TV. Power level is somewhere between Wii U and Xbox One. Will use cartridges. Using Nvidia technology so no backwards compatibility. http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/20...le-controllers Last edited by Ryan57; 26-07-2016 at 06:04 PM. |

It's a bit crazy that this is out in seven months and we know next to nothing about it.

Tbh I think Nintendo could probably box and sell the bubonic plague and make more of a profit on that than they do on the Wii U at this point (much as I love that console)

Personally, I'm more willing to buy this than a Wii U as it lowers my investment. The games are expensive as well and first party (the reason you buy Nintendo) never really goes on sale. The console experience for me is a major investment, not only in money but time. I have a hard time justifying the cash. I already have a workhorse for a PC due to the nature of my work, so it's easier for me to get something on Steam sales for "relax time" than to buy a standalone console, purchase controllers, games, any other memory cards, setup services.... gets harder to justify the money + time investments after years of playing the game. Also Nintendo really needs to get serious about their store. They're behind the times. Last edited by Maru; 04-08-2016 at 12:15 AM. |
