I went fishing for a ranking of the most successful or highest earning series/formats of Big Brother from Endemol but I couldn't find anything. Does anyone know? This isn't personal opinion but anything with figures would work.

The original Dutch format (i.e. the one we went with) is used in the most countries - albeit with small variations - so I'd say that

That gets about 100m so yeah probably right. Idk what gets the highest percentages though, compared to thd population. BB Spain has been running longer than our version has and it silll gets the equivalent of like 8m virwers for us so god knows what it used to get.

Big Brother India most likely.
However success can also be measured in how invested you are in, eg. phone voting. And Big Brother Brazil had, wait for it......145 MILLION VOTES in the final for it's 10th series. F me. |

Interesting after so many years on air, Italian BB broke a record last year in October, Week 5 when a record breaking 4m people cast their votes on that week in the Federica V Lidia eviction (one of my fave evictions of all time in any series across the world).
Imagine 4m voting on an evicton in this country? What makes it so alarming is that the series only averaged 3.5m, so to get 4m voting was HUGE. |

Probably Brazil, after 16 season still with more than 30 million viewers and 40% of share...

And I bet the host still tells viewers theres just a "handful of votes" in it.
No doubt about it Big Brother Brasil is the most successful - it's ratings are huge, as are it's voting figures - and it's actually a hybrid of the oroginal and US format which has the HoH and competition elements, but also retains the public voting. It's the format BBUK should have adopted years ago.
