First of all, he originally said the characters should be "rested", not ended completely.

And we've had quite enough deaths in the Mitchells/Beales the last couple of years.

If they do it's a big mistake.

Oh, and everything about SOC's work so far is pointing to more grounded realistic stuff so I don't see an explosion anytime soon.

Honestly, if they die then an Eastenders cast only with all of the characters who have been killed off would be a much more appealing show.

Ronnie's problem is Samantha Womack's clearly bored. When she actually makes an effort she's great. She just hasn't bothered for about 2 years.

Even Roxy out-acted her in the New Year crash episodes. Well Ronnie was in a coma but yeah.
