On the one hand I see such improvement in the show and then on the other it's all in such a bad way.
I think it's because Yorke has basically one foot in, one foot out. Either way, I don't think the show will benefit from having someone who's full time job isn't sorting the show out, even if it is John Yorke it's not good for the show if he can't devote his time to it. |

But then, apparently, they're struggling to find anyone who wants the job so...

Mark Catley will take the job once Yorke has finished his run as executive consultant, bookmark me!

Yeah I'm sensing a Lorraine Newman type situation where it's basically improving the state of the show but not really adding anything new or amazing to it/basically getting it to a "template" sort of point with not much going on and allowing whoever takes over to have the template, and do with it whatever they will.

Poor Ms Tamzin has been hoodwinked. She said she only came back because of John Yorke and he's going before she's properly got her feet under the table.
I fear she only does a year. |

He's been a story consultant on Casualty since 2007 (I think?). He's now credited as an executive consultant and three episodes as a co-executive producer.
He's now a story consultant on EastEnders and has written a handful of episodes since Yorke took over. |

BTW I'm kinda here for the return of Masala Queen. Masood and Ian work so well together.
I just wish they'd give Kathy something to do. |

Hmm, interesting. Oliver Kent oversees EE/Holby/Casualty so it could be that he's brought one over.

I love how Mel has a new habit of suddenly interacting with a female character randomly in one episode and then inviting them to the club for a drink and then Sharon tags along for the booze without even being invited.
She bloody well knew Michelle was a flight risk and was still there practically swinging from the optics at e20 and Mel had to ask her where Michelle was. Then boom she's there again with Linda, sucking the wine out of ha drenched suit. Last edited by Marsh.; 20-04-2018 at 09:43 PM. |

The girls to have an absolute blast of a fun day, ending with Honey found drunk, face down in a paddling pool?
