I really want to see a breakdown of the voting to see how much the judges contributed to the UK's success.

We scored more points this year though.

I thought Graham Norton was very good, He was quite funny. I wasn't keen on Germany's, there was too much of that annoying man and a distinct lack of Dita. I really liked Estonia's song as well.

How did the jury come into it anyway?

Btww if you wanna know the placing of the semifinals

go here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurovision_2009

Norway won the second semi & Iceland won the first.

Ireland nearly got to the final but the jury picked Croatia even though they came 13th and Ireland came 11th.

Czech Republic got no points lool.

Because of neighbourly voting in previous years.
it was 50% televote, 50% their choice

The judges must have made thier 1-12 points and added it to the publics 1-12 points then divided by two to make one set of 1-12 points i guess.

I think it was the same way in how they do the voting on Strictly Come Dancing or Dancing On Ice
The jury from each country gave points 1-12 and the public did too. They were added together to get the final results from each country and if there was a tie the public vote decided it.
