The company who makes the lights for the X Factor studio for the past 5 years, has released a pic on their website of their lights in action and claim that it is a pic of the new set for series 6 live shows . . .

If this is a new set, then I really don't like it at all, and it's waaay too similar to the Series 2 set. |

Thats the old set. They wouldnt get rid of the expensive backscreens for something as delapidated as that. lol

They're moving to a new and bigger venue for the live finals as well, because the audiences are so large (2,000) for the audtions and boot camp stages, that they thought it would then look silly to do the live finals with a much smaller audience. They also hope the new and bigger venue will make each live final feel like a concert.

That was the second series set.
Also, its going to be the same set this year OR a bigger one in another venue - not smaller. |

I think this years set won't be too different from that. They are trying to be consistent with audition/bootcamp sets so expect something similar to that for the live show, especially if they move to the Excel Centre which is rumoured. It isn't a TV studio so the sets tend to be minimal because of lighting issues. I hope it isn't there though, I hate big audiences like that. I wouldn't be against it for the final but not every week. The studio is fine and they manage to make the audience look pretty big anyway.

After watching a video on YouTube of one of the Auditions and the background when the judge's come out I reckon a title change and new graphics are on the cards.
I'm expecting a new set too, although I do love the current one. |
