Why are fans happy with another Yank taking over? All very strange stuff. Wouldn't surprise me if he sold them within a season or two.

Whats his nationality got to do wth it? Henry has proven he is a very capable sports club owner at the Boston Red Sox so the fans have no reason to doubt him. Hicks on the other hand came to Liverpool with an awful record having messed up Corinthians in Brazil and having taken money out of the Texas Rangers. I don't know why the Liverpool board let Hicks buy Liverpool, a quick google search would find that he's a swindler. It's just that another Yank has come in and bought the club on the cheap, and you know he's in it to make money, that's all. I just think it's a bit weird that he's been cheered as their saviour when I can see him pushing the club for a year or two and then selling it for a fortune. He's not in there for the long run, well not in my opinion anyway.

I've got no problem where he is from, what he's said so far sounds promising and nothing can be worse than what Hicks & Gillett have done. He's got a lot of success in sport in the past aswell, and the Red Sox are the second biggest spenders in the baseball league in the US so fingers crossed...

I don't know David. Ok, he'll probably throw a bit of cash around but it all seems so weird to me. Love to know what really went on in that club over the last year or so.

I think people fotget that liverpool still have a lot of class in their team..

The keeper is not having his best season but hes one of the best in the world no doubt..

Players like gerrard, torres.
to a lesser extent merelis, maxi, kuyt, Cole
Skrtel and agger are pretty good, Jovanovic hasnt show his worth as of yet but is class.

Got a HD Plasma screen in today Ben, and FIFA is incredible on it. The difference in graphics... wow, just wow.

Cant believe you havent played in hd before its far better.

Ive always had hd really but my tv was small and cheap my one i bought in june is 37inch panasonic picture is amazing..

Got a Samsung one. Fantastic. Didn't realise that it would make such a big difference with games. Now I can't wait to throw on a few Dvds and see what they look like. Got a Blu-Ray player with it... pretty decent deal too.

You got 6 Dvds with the player. I couldn't choose which ones though.... Up, Toy Story, 300, Bruno, Sweeney Todd and Momma fecking Mia.
