Chantelle Houghton is determined not to sit around and wait while ex-husband Preston decides whether they have a future together.

Instead, she has been out getting fit with a hunky personal trainer, determined to keep a trim, toned body to impress her BB beau.

As the weeks since Ultimate Big Brother go past, it seems Preston is either extremely cautious or quite simply, not interested in rekindling their romance.

According to new!, the singer said: “I think it’s a dangerous path to tread. I need to look into her eyes and I’ll be able to tell what’s really on her mind.”

Speaking to OK magazine, Chantelle said that her ex has been telling her how much she means to him in phone conversations and text messages.

"He says he misses me and that he can't wait to see me and he tells me he wants to take me away. I really want to go to Paris and he's said he'd take me there. Paris is probably the most romantic place you could take someone."

However, Preston, who also did a separate interview with the glossy magazine this week, said that giving his relationship with Chantelle another go “seem(s) like a bit of a ridiculous thing to do”.

The confused singer, who said that he still loves Chantelle and that he’d be “lucky to have her as a friend”, then admitted that he’s considering moving to Brooklyn to try and make things work with his girlfriend Abby.
