Scrutiny: Television crews wait outside the French Comigel
offices as the company comes under increasing
pressure over the horse meat scandal

Security: The Tavola
plant in Luxembourg (who get Horse bits from Romania)
where Camigel produces around
16,000 tonnes of frozen ready meals every year.

Iceland stores must be affected - but not in press yet.

Morrisons have done well
their Own brand is British produced
and all meats are from their own factorys
All Tracked.

God knows what they put in takeaway meat, that's why I never get meat stuff from there if I can help it. The odd Kebab though maybe if I'm drunk.

100% meat sounds good - when you eat a sausage it probably contains 23% meat which they bleach off the bones of the dead animal as a last resort, cows/pigs lips, ears, testicles, anything else they can mash-up.........then filled up with a mixture of oatmeal and whateva.

Why are people being so precious about horses? Do the care the same about cows or pigs being culled into our food chain?

If you feel it is morally wrong to eat an animal then go vegitarian/vegan. Do not pick and choose between species.

No it means 100% horse with fillers and such.... as in 0% beef, it's the chemicals that the horses contain that are seriously dangerous to us not the actual horsemeat.

http://www.guardian.co.uk/business/2...national-fraud
''the government was open to bringing in the Serious and Organised Crime Agency if, as seems evident, the fraud is on an international scale. He said the Metropolitan police had been asked to investigate the scandal and that the force was liaising with counterparts in other countries. Paterson suggested the scandal was potentially a "worldwide" issue.''

Let's be real now. They are now saying that the Italian and Polish Mafias are behind the horse meat....so basically, wtf, the Italian/polish Mafia's are controlling the food supply in Europe?? REALLY?

That is a major wtf if you really think about it. How is this even possible? ...supposedly the EU is in control of all the standards and stuff, so how is this possible? And what else is going on under the EU's nose from various mafias from various countries that no one has discovered yet?

Seriously, it puts the whole EU vote into a different perspective doesn't it? What other industries are various organized crime units manipulating in the EU?

Another One

Now Tesco say their Everyday Value Bolognese
also contained up to 100% horsemeat

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...#axzz2KPWe2QbE

"The product comes from Comigel of France,
which is implicated in scandal
Six French supermarket chains
have withdrawn meals from Findus, Comigal
Environment Secretary Owen Paterson
warns of pan-European legal action"

If you have this take it back to Tesco
and get a Full Refund

"We've done nothing wrong, say Romanian horse abattoirs"

Then it must be Criminal Butchers adding it.

The government said the two plants were in Botosani, near the Moldovian border in the north east, and the central town of Brasov in Transylvania

Where have I seen this before?......
