Well, all reality tv sections then (XF/BB/IAC etc), and when on the main page they can see the most active threads are in other parts of the forum.

People are nosy, they'll join just to see something even if it's boring

yeah because guest viewing causes a lot of drama it would just mean less site traffic, some lurkers might like reading C&G

I think a forum should be quite open with the option for members to have their own chat rooms

Well,it isn't my forum and it is down to who owns it as to what it should be like and for the selected mods to control what goes on.

However, it is a public forum, so open to the public to look in and join if they want to. People looking in are looked upon likely as potential members so they should be able to see all there is and get an idea of how it works before they join,that is how I would run something if I had one myself.

Thankfully though, I don't.
