Earlier this morning, Bethesda began teasing yet another new project via Twitter. The image is three tiers featuring what appears to be a glowing red eye, a set of small missiles, and possibly shadows of people.

Unlike their last tease, the series of Vine movies for Shinji Mikami's The Evil Within, this comes with a bit of focus. Bethesda stated outright that this project has nothing to do with Bethesda Game Studios (the team behind The Elder Scrolls and Fallout 3).

The tweet accompanying the picture promises more information this morning via Gamespot, and the first hint has the hashtag "#1960" on a full version of the missile image.

Update: All three images have appeared now (here, here, and here). They are tagged with z1960, y1960, and x1960. Perhaps the final one will be W1960. Wolfenstein 1960?

Following yesterday's reveal of Wolfenstein: The New Order, Bethesda has released the game's debut trailer.

Gamespot has also revealed a few precious details about the game, including the fact that it does not include multiplayer. A video preview on the site goes over the Nazi's conquest of the moon, enemies, weapons, and alternate history where the Nazi's have won WWII.

I hear this game is quite long for a shooter, plus it's a totally single player focused for once, gonna get it.

Probably have it for my birthday. Hoping the game is good and runs well seeing as though they appear to be one of the few developers that aren't lazy bastards what with both current gen console versions running at 1080p/60FPS.
