Sarah Connor was fine, the Kyle Reese was an absolute joke in it though (in this version, 10/10 character in the original)

Glad you liked this... I've watched it twice now. Can't remember what score I gave it on here if any, but for me it's a 9 at least.

Spoiler:

I can totally see why she did this to try to get her life back on track. It makes me want to do it myself... not that I'm particularly off-track. Loved the two scenes you mention... also the bit when she gets her new back pack and can't stand up with it because it's so heavy.

'Let Us Pray' - a very enjoyable 'horror' film which has a decent plot and which maintained my interest until the end.

..have you watched Into The Wild, Liv..?..it's also a really great and inspirational watch...and yeah, I would love to do something like that as well, I know someone who walked around the Grand Canyon, which isn't nearly as far but she said that it really was a spiritual experience..that's probably about the right distance for me, so if you ever feel like doing that and want a partner...?..

Haven't seen it, no... just watched the trailer and it looks great. It's on the list. Also want to see "A Walk In The Woods" based on Bill Bryson's book. Love that kind of stuff.

Let me know when you're ready to go. I'm up for that.

Circle - 5/10

This actually looked pretty decent, the idea of 50 people waking up in a random room and having to decide who deserves to live was good enough for me. Although it did manage to maintain my attention for the most part and had me guessing who would die next, it was full of far too many clichés. The acting was poor and most of the dialogue made me cringe. The ending was also nothing spectacular, overall a fairly average film

This really is a great movie. I wasn't expecting much when I saw it because it was underrated but I was really impressed. And I've never really been an AJ fan (haven't really seen her in much though, I'm just inclined to hate on her because she married my bf! ) but she was excellent in it. Shame they never did a sequel. Could have been a good franchise.

I've got a great idea; If you and me pair up as a couple, perhaps we could entice Brad and Angelina to indulge in a bit of 'Swinging'?

You and Brad, and Me and Angelina.

Spectre.

8/10. Not quite as good as Skyfall but still very credible. Enjoyed it. You get the feeling its definitely Daniel's swansong.

Hi Kate.

Skyfall is my alltime favourite Bond movie, so if Spectre is anywhere near as good I will enjoy it.

I really hope that it's NOT Daniel's final Bond movie - he's absolutely brilliant in the role.

You'll love it Kirk. It's grass roots Bond, find out more about Blofelds story.Ben Whishaw as Q is great casting too. I'd quite like to see him as the next Dr Who but thats a new thread in the making......

Hancock - 6/10

Was a pretty good concept and I thought from the first half of the film it could have been up there with the best superhero films, but it started going downhill in the second part. Would have been better if it had focused solely on Will Smith/Hancock and saved the Charlize Theron revelation for the sequel. Weak villain too. Missed opportunity, but still an enjoyable film.

Whiplash - Yes. Just yes. JK Simmons you are a God. Got flashbacks to one of my music lecturers (no cymbals thrown at me tho) The final scene is amazing.

Ex Machina - Freaking loved this. Super engaging throughout even though you could kinda tell where a lot of the plot was going. Alicia Vikander and Oscar Isaac are brilliant. Apparently a lot of people hate the ending but I loved it.

Boyhood - Beautifully put together. I remember labelling the preview as gimmicky but it's superb. Serious props to the parents Patricia Arquette and Ethan Hawke. It's a beautiful embodiment of so many family issues and life in general it's hard not to feel something after watching it.

I'd give all three a 9/10.

28 Days Later - Hadn't watched this movie since I'd say soon after it came out back in 2001 so I couldn't really remember much of it. Really good Zombie (ish) movie though. Love Cillian Murphy too. 8/10

Howl - 7/10
This would have got a higher rating had the werewolves actually been scary and not humanised. The ending too was disappointing and really was unreasonable. The first 50 odd minutes were great though
