All hail the Moyesiah

Bercow is a disgrace to his office, should have been removed a long time ago when it turned out he'd presided over a culture of bullying in Westminster but he got away with it

Never
Never NEVER!!!!! We have had a peoples vote, it was 23 June 2016 We voted to leave Leaving with a deal was not on the ballot form We are leaving on 29 March with a Hard Brexit with no deal on WTO terms and we are regaining a hard physical border with the Irish Republic, (razor wire will suffice) and this will end that Good Friday Agreement which many in Ulster saw as a surrender and capitulation to the IRA. No concessions, No Compromise, No Surrender. Sorry just need to wipe the foam from my mouth as I channel the Late Ian Paisley in his early years

If he really cared about not having a hard Brexit then Labour would support May's deal, the only one the EU is prepared to give.

So conservatives screw this whole process up but Corbyn is the fool? I actually disagree with JC on this issue. Labour should be the party for a 2nd referendum and no brexit.

The six counties of Northern Ireland were not stolen but were the protestant areas when Ireland was split in to two by the 1921 Government of Ireland Act. The other 26 counties were given independence in 1937 when a new constitution abolished the Irish Free State and proclaimed EIRE (Gaelic for Ireland) as an independent, sovereign state. You then have the IRA breaking away from the IRB committing violence leading to the rise of the UVF to counter them. The majority in the northern 6 counties wish to remain British, and the UK Government respects that, so we are where we are If you have a personal stake, so do I, when we were growing up, because of my father's job in the civil service we were considered by the IRA as legitimate targets. We were not allowed to handle the post, or get in the cars until they had been checked. We lived under the shadow of the IRA, and as I said to some the Good Friday agreement amounted to a sop to Sien Fein/ IRA and a total capitulation and surrender to the men of blood and violence. People who had murdered women and children with indiscriminate bombings, like Warrington

I have studied history, I have lived through history as mentioned in my previous post. We had the men of blood and violence trying to bomb and shoot their way to the table and force those who wish to remain British to be governed by a foreign power and another religion.

And why were there Protestant areas in NI at all hhhmm? Did I miss the referendum on a United Ireland btw? The only referendum I saw was where NI chose to stay within the EU. And what of the Irish portion of NI citizens should their wishes not be respected? 4 of the 6 counties in NI have amjority Irish Catholic roots, the actual percentage of Catholic Vs Protestants is something like 45 to 48 atm and it's predicted that catholics will be the bigger group in the next few years. Unlike you, I do respect both the sides of people up there which is why I think a hard border is a disgusting backwards and disrespectful step.
