Marc is looking for cheap affection and an ego boost as afar as he can see Jack is the only straight man without a female companionship (e. g. Cristian has Jasmine, Danny has Aisleyne, Nick Harry). Marc regards Joel as gay he said so in bunker when Nikki asked him.
