Default Steam

Anyone got this? I'm not a huge PC gamer so I never downloaded it until recently but I love it. For people who don't know it's kind of like the Itunes of Games and it's got a social aspect to it since you can add friends and invite them to games and such like you would if you were playing an Xbox.

The Christmas sales are pretty ridiculous as well, I bought four games on it yesterday for £4 odd. It's got a fair few classic games and it and such.

If anyone's a member on it let me know and I'll add you.

Yeah, Steam is amazing. Easily the best video game marketplace on any platform. And as you say, their sales are brilliant as well. It's probably impossible, but my biggest hope for the next console generation is that either Sony or Microsoft strike some kind of deal with Valve to have a modified version of Steam on their next console.

Unfortunately all I have is a laptop, so I can't actually run any games I'd want from Steam other than Football Manager and the odd indie game. Wish I could use it more.

use it for football manager. updates everything so I don't have to...hate it though, it takes a high percentage of computer memory to run

Yeah I've been sticking to the cheap and indie games too since I'm not sure how good this laptop is for playing anything too advanced. I think the PS3 has some sort of intergrated Steam functionality.

Ah yeah, completely forgot about that. It sort of does, but it only functions with Portal 2 so far, as far as I know? I'm not too sure to be honest.

Though it is a good sign that the PS4 might launch with a more integrated version of Steam, with the marketplace and all.

Yeah I really like it, It's a good platform so I'd like to see it more present in other Gaming type things.

I bought the first two Abe Oddysey games yesterday for 99p, I'm content for the next few days

I'm definitely going to get more games after Christmas since this sale they're doing lasts until 2nd of January and they're doing some mad deals like all the Broken Sword games for like £3 or something. I love me some Broken Sword.

Thing about STeam is, the sales make it TOO easy to buy games. I have over 150 games on Steam and I'm pretty sure I've only played about 30 of them .

I mean... having a look now, it turns out I bought "The Evil Within" back in 2015. I haven't played it! I didn't know I owned it! I have no memory of buying it! .
